Artemis and Leto : It is at approximately 4 km east of Herakleia Salbace antique city and 1 km north east of present Tavas – Kızılcabölük Town, built on a place named Ören Sırtı (ruin ridge) and Kocapınar locality. Perched on the ridges of Babadağ Mountain with its rectangular shape,Hieron has relieves on its surface that figure out the mythological scenes about Artemis, Apollo, Pan, Dionysus and Hercules.
The ancient city is within Medet Village’s border, which is 10 km northwest of Tavas Town. The city center was situated mostly on the north where the city walls were. Herakleia Salbace was located on the Phrygia-Caria Border on Mt. Babadag’s southern foothills which overlook the Tavas Plain. It’s known as Karia City. Aphrodisias and Caria Cities are next to each other and the natural border is the Tmelos (Kirpinar) Creek. The river god was Tmelos in both cities. Herakleia is the modern city of its period and its neighbors were Aphrodisias on the west, Apollonia and Tabae on the south, Sebastopolis and Kidramos on the southeast. Important ruins include Roman Period city walls and a stadium.
Laodikya is a very pleasant three star hotel located in Denizli Turkey, close to Pamukkale. The hotel has been open for more than 15 years, so they have alot of experience in hosting guests.
Babadağlılar İşhanı is a textile marketplace in the city center of Denizli, Turkey. The Denizli region has many textile manufacturing centers, and the biggest retail outlet for these factories are in the Babadağlılar İşhanı.
Çamlık Park is a forested area on the side of one of the small mountains which surrounds the city of Denizli. There is a pond, walking paths, picnic areas, and tea garden with restaurant. A lovely place to lay in the grass in the summer, or have a brisk walk in the colder weather, this park is one of the few natural refuges in the city.
Forum Çamlik is Denizli’s newest and brightest shopping mall. There is a movie theater, food court, grocery store, and wide variety of other shopping opportunities. Stores include: D&R, Avea, Turkcell, Vodaphone, Boyner, LC Waikiki, Migros, Mudo, Bimeks, LG. Samsung, Teknosa, Colins, Defacto, Esse, Tefal, Tchibo, and Pasabahce. There is also a bar and restaurant called Sir Winston Tea House, which is one of the very few places to sit and drink a beer in Denizli.

Most of our guests in Denizli want to visit the natural wonder which is the travertines at Pamukkale, as well as the historical ruins at Hierapolis, UNESCO world heritage site.
Teras Park Shopping Mall is Denizli’s biggest. With a large food court and terrace overlooking the city from it’s high vantage point, there are plenty of choices for shopping and other entertainment inside the mall. Stores include: Gold, Colin’s, LC Waikiki, Katan, Mavi Jeans, Penti, Bosch, Beko, Samsung, Tefal, Tekzen, Vestel, Media Markt, and Carrefour.
Pamukkale University is about 8 Km from the hotel. You can reach it in about 20 minutes by dolmuş (minibus). From the local bus stop in front of the Denizli main bus station, look for a minibus with the sign “Yeniyol.” You can take this minibus for 1.75 lira, it is the fastest way to get to the campus. You can also take a taxi which will cost about 20 lira.
