Dalyan Kebap can be thought of as a cross breed between an American meatloaf and a British Scotch Egg. It is made from ground beef, and usually contains a boiled egg or vegetables on the inside.
One of the lesser know Turkish foods, because it is rarely served in restaurants, Dalyan kebap is also something you will not find anywhere in Denizli except at Yildirim Hotel restaurant when we feel like serving it as a special. This dish is well within the realm of “grandma’s cooking” which is one of the reasons it is incredibly delicious in it’s simplicity.
